Envisioning Environmental Equity

This moving MAPA-inspired comic book follows two young activists as they try to stop landslides and flooding in Kasese District, Western Uganda, a village where both of them have worked and which was severely damaged by floods in September 2022.

By providing them the freedom to share their experiences regarding their work at the forefront of the climate catastrophe, we sought to highlight the work of young people and grassroots activists in their most authentic and raw form with these films.
